96. Why you should walk your own path
All footpaths paved by society.
Footpaths are paved for convenience. You stay on the side of the road because it’s less dangerous. It makes your life neater and safer.
The thing is, humans don’t always need neater and safer. If they want to go somewhere, they will. If a path goes around a corner but there’s a short cut through the grass, you bet that people will walk through the grass — the path will be created.
Even if there aren’t a lot of people creating paths, people will walk their own invisible path. They don’t always know where they’re going. They just know it’s something they have to do. They have to take a journey… somewhere.
