part one

Possessed, moon-bit lips
chase prey to peak cold mountain,
sink into fresh stars

the window latch gives

me the opportunity

When smoke freezes mid
air, it forges solid dreams
and surreal breaths.

Flood

Water logged city
tinted hues with earth’s umber.

Orange stacked flapjacks,
twisty-turns consider joy — 
lanterns profusion

Carry on

rolling in chaos
this flood unifies choices,
we’ll carry our love
