I agree that it depends on the client and their budget. It also depends on your client base. I build sites that have to use Wordpress because the real estate IDX plugin we use…only works on Wordpress. But for small businesses sites, wix or webflow could work for them. I like building Wordpress templates from scratch to not get pigeonholed into a templates restrictions. It all depends on your clients needs.
Great re-design of the webdesigners depot website. The apps sections is a treasure trove of tools for web designers. I was already a daily visitor to your site, now with the Apps section I’ll be using the web resources as well. Web designers can’t get enough free tools. Bravo on the new site design!
