Nikola Jokic is the jock who was nice to you in high school. He had a surprising sense of humor. He always found you under the hoop, too — never missed one of your cuts, even when his fellow bigboys kept furrowing their brows at him like “why are you passing to the nerds?”
Jamal Murray is maybe too cool to optimize the platonic Jokic dynamic. He’s very cool.
