Today I went skating with some friends. This is always an interesting activity for me. I’ve been on skates since I was 1. Most winter weeks for 15 years I was on the ice for close to 30 hours. Most of my friends have skated for less than 30 hours in their life.

It does not finish when you gain your degree or when you leave university it is constant.

I call this “planning for procrastination,” which is just a lower energy version! We are going to get distracted (in fact, I would argue we need to get distracted to maintain focus over longer periods.) I allow myself around ten minutes an hour for randomness. It’s a great way to clear the mind.
