This is a LIVE case study where I am documenting my journey to becoming a highly paid marketing consultant by blogging everyday for 50 consecutive days. It’s called “50 Days to Freedom: My Journey to 5 Figures in 50 Days“. At the end of the post, you will find links to all the previous posts.

Last night was game #3 of the NBA Finals.

It’s been an ugly series, and an overall bad playoff season for the NBA. Not much competition, and very few games decided by 10 points or less.

If you’re not much into sports, the first team that wins 4 games wins the series, or in this case, the championship.

Cleveland is down 3 games to ZERO.

If you’re watched this series so far, you know Cleveland has a SLIM chance of winning 1 or 2 games, and an even slimmer chance of wining 4 in a row.

JR Smith who is a player for the Cleveland Cavaliers, who has done very little this series tweeted this last night after a disappointing loss…

Talk about having unshakable confidence.

Not only is that important in sports, but in business, too. Having confidence has a huge impact on becoming a highly paid marketing consultant. It can help you charge what you’re worth & work with higher tier clients who have the money to invest with you.

Not only will it help you put more of the green stuff in your piggybank, it’ll help your home life, too.

Here are 10 Reasons Why Confidence Leads to Success

Day #24 Breakdown

Today, I followed up with a lot of the leads that went cold over the last few weeks. This is part of the business as people get busy/forget/whatever. Like they say, the fortune is in the follow up, but sometimes you can feel like you’re annoying them.

This challenge has forced me to become more aggressive with my follow up as I have the whole world watching (and rooting me on, right?)

Someone once said — follow up until you get one of the 2 fingers.

Not a bad piece of advice, honestly.

I did get 2 gym owners to confirm running Facebook ad trials moving forward, so that is a good thing.

And one of the gym owners I am working with, is looking to retain my (paid) services.

Also, one gym owner I spoke with on Tuesday is looking to generate more one-on-one clients for his personal trainers. We’re also going to be deploying an email marketing campaign as he has 600+ leads sitting in his database that he is not utilizing.

This is so common with a lot of small business owners I speak with. A lot of them can optimize what they’re currently doing to increase revenue fairly quickly.

A lot of small business owners are sitting on a lot of money, and they do not even realize it. Some can increase their profit margins by 25% — 100% in less than 90 days, just by optimizing what they currently have in place.

This is what I really enjoy helping gym owners (any small business owner really), as it produces substantial results, fairly quickly and it doesn’t cost anything.

Sounds like I am describing a unicorn, huh?
