Hey Agave Community!
This update is meant to present the community with the latest developments from our DAO. As we launched a couple of weeks ago, the team has been busy polishing minor details noticed by the users on our platform, setting the stage for our DAO migration, working behind the scenes on a few partnerships and much more. As always, to gather more context, we invite you to check our previous updates and to get involved with the community through our Social channels. 🚀
General Updates
- DAO Migration: A major milestone for our DAO is the migration to a Garden. The official announcement was published on September 10th, alongside the forum post that officially opened the vote from the community.
- Nearly 2k Agave were “used” to vote on the migration, which is going to happen in the next few days.
- Following the migration, we already have in the pipeline 6 proposals, and we expect the community to participate in shaping the upcoming direction of our DAO by sharing more proposals and ideas. The first proposals include paying the work of the devs prior to launch, liquidity incentives and much more.
- Many community members have been asking the advantages of migrating to a Garden. The possibility of having an easy-to-use interface to create, suggest, challenge proposals and where to have a history of the previous ideas shared by the community is a crucial element for a truly decentralized DAO. Furthermore, the possibility of voting with stkAGVE allows proposals to reach the quorum in a much easier way. But…there’s much more to that. - NFT app: We have some cool developments on the pipeline, and we can share more in the very near future.
- We have temporarily reached an all time high for what concerns the amount of staked agave, locking up over 25% of the circulating supply.
- Partnership: One of the main aspects we are focusing on is working with other projects to strengthen collaborations and partnerships that may increase the TVL of our platform, as well as creating a stronger network of projects. Although nothing is official yet, we plan on sharing the first couple of announcements in the coming weeks.
- Documentation: A few members of the community are working on some of the available bounties, and some members of the team are working on the original documentation of the Agave Wiki page that we hope to officially publish in the near future.
- After the success of our previous AMA, we are considering making this a fixed event that may take place once a month or every other month. We will ask for feedback to the community regarding this.
- Our website agave.finance is now showing the current lending markets on the platform. If you experience issues while visualizing this new feature, please clear your cache and refresh the page.
