Steve,
Very inspiring especially for seniors. I tell them it is not retirement but realignment. I have to tell myself that too. But inspiring for all actually because we work with a single mom who needs to know this too.
Thank you.

Janis,
We all need to be reminded that age is just a number. Some of us are just getting started in life, and are trying to find our place in the world. Some of us are at the point of realignment and trying to discover the best way to continue to add value.

I agree with most of what you said. But instead of diet — it needs to be a lifestyle change. We stopped almost all processed food 3 years ago. Hubby has lost 40 pounds and kept it off. He doesn’t exercise anymore or less. We still walk 30 minutes a day (in 2 walks) with our dog.

I completely agree. A diet is a temporary change, a lifestyle change is what makes the change permanent.
Congrats on your hubby’s success. He is making awesome progress.
Sadly, this is true. I wrote about my experience as well, and I’m still fearing that it will happen to me again. So I’m trying make things happen on the side to avoid the feeling of “what will I do now”.
