162. 83 days til the end of the year

So far this year, I’ve changed and grown a bit more than previous years. I feel like I’ve stalled a little bit in these last few months, but I’m not letting it overwhelm me like it has in previous years.
I’ll be honest with you: you shouldn’t hope to achieve anything too groundbreaking towards the end of this year.
Good things take time. Often, they are slow at the beginning. Nothing seems to happen when you’re watching it like a hawk.
The moment you forget about it — BAM! There’s growth, people reach out to you and you’re thankful that you hung in there when you doubted yourself.

Use the remaining 83 days of the year to lay a foundation that can give you momentum when you start the year. Starting on goals from January 1 doesn’t seem to work that well.

You just have to maintain it until the end of the race.
