I’ve Come This Far
Reflections, Ripples and Ramblings of a Restless Mind
Not keeping count or anything —well actually clearly I am —but unbelievably here I am two thirds of the way through this hundred day journey.
I’ve written poetry, creative pieces, rambles and rants and bits and pieces about myself over the last couple of months. I’ve had moments of clarity, days where the writing has come from deep within me, times when the words flowed with ease.
Then there have been days where every thought was a struggle, every word felt like it was being forced out of my cerebrum, every sentence a chore, every paragraph clumsy. Days when I wanted to quit, days when I just threw down the first 100 words that came to mind. Dark days.
For me 100 Naked Words has taught me plenty, and I am enjoying the habit; but I can see the end in sight, when I can take what 100NW has taught me and, hopefully, take it to the next level.
