Connections

Out of all the taglines I’ve read in advertising, I believe Nokia’s ‘Connecting People’ was pretty cool. It clearly outlined the company’s philosophy of removing communication barriers and connecting people seamlessly.

Before I begin sounding like a brand manager, let me get to the point – isn’t it funny that a mobile phone company talks about connecting people, when it’s also the cause for the most disconnected people in the world?

What truly is a connection?

Is it that late night WhatsApp message? The witty comment you HAD to get in on a Facebook argument before you went to bed? No it isn’t…
