Random Discussion: Newt/Eleven

I’m watching one of my favourite sci-fi films — Aliens — and if you’re fans of the franchise, you’ll know all about Rebecca Jorden, a.k.a. Newt. The sole survivor of a Xenomorph infestation on the Hadley’s Hope settlement in Acheron.

She’s one of the most badass kids I’ve ever seen. One of my favourite kids from the movies. Now I know they have no connection, but she reminds me of Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven from Stranger Things). She didn’t have any powers like Eleven, but (in Ripley’s words) she “survived the Aliens without training or weapons”. Eleven also fought an ‘alien’ — the Demogorgon.

Say, here’s an interesting question — in a battle, who would win? The Xenomorph Queen or the Demogorgon? Actually, the Xenomorph would win — it is an evolving creature, and as Ash from Alien describes it, ‘the perfect specimen’.

I suddenly have an idea for an Alien/Stranger Things crossover. Let me go think about it…
